Here are some common questions that you may like to ask. If your questions are not answered here, feel free to email Mr. Anson at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact him at 97887232.
1) Are you able to teach Chinese using English, and vice versa?
Yes I can! In fact, I started out teaching both languages to locals and foreigners and have no problem explaining the terms in either language, thanks to my bilingual ability.
2) Do you travel? And where do you usually teach?
Yes, for 1 to 1 lessons, I usually teach in the West side of Singapore and my students reside around this area. However, I have travelled up to Woodlands in the North and also some central regions of Singapore. Otherwise, I also have a small classroom available in Boon Lay.
3) Would you consider teaching in the East, say Bedok or Pasir Ris?
I would prefer not as it will be far away from my usual teaching routes and travelling takes a longer time. However, I would consider if there is a group available, starting from 2 pax onwards.
4) Do you teach adults too?
Yes! From time to time, I do have adults who come on board and tell me they want to learn Chinese. I have taught conversational Mandarin to a number of students.
5) How else can I learn Chinese if I stay far away, or if I’m not residing in Singapore?
Fret not. I do conduct online classes through Skype. I have students staying in the US, or the far eastern side of Singapore, and if you are more keen on learning conversational Chinese, this could be an excellent option worth exploring. Online lessons can be fun and interactive as well. 🙂
6) What are your payment terms?
I accept cash, cheque, bank transfer, and even PayPal (if you are staying overseas).
